Before the horizontal location of John King was finalized, CDC was involved with the City of Rockwall in planning the layout. This resulted in CDC having a total of 50 acres of land on both sides of John King south of STE 66. The area is called Boardwalk and it has just over 2,500 feet of frontage on John King along both sides. Boardwalk encompasses the south east and south west corners of ST 66 and John King as well. Once the John King location was finalized CDC then carefully analyzed and zoned Boardwalk as commercial property under PD-71. This land is all available for sale, development, land lease, and for tenant construction and lease. Columbia Development Company, LLC is capable of all types of real estate situations with regards to Boardwalk.
