Park Station was once a part of a manufacturing facility wholly owned by CDC’s affiliated companies. The facility itself was sold to Rockwall Commercial Property Management, a company owned by a partnership of Columbia and Bricker Enterprise and managed by Bill. The plant area was subsequently sold to SPR, leaving a remaining 16 acre tract along Washington St. This remaining plant property once separated from the plant was zoned as a Planned Development with many uses. It was sold to a church group in 2022 who will complete the land development with their facility. The unique layout and design will complement the adjacent City Park and the Park Place subdivision. The development of the Harry Myers Park, Park Station and Park Place was carefully considered when entitled by CDC to ensure compatible uses and consistent quality.
